An intimate gathering in nature, coming together around the fire to close our shared journey through the weekend.
This small ceremonial space will be guided primarily by Soema, with Fiorella co-guiding, holding space and translating throughout the experience.
Drawing inspiration from ancestral traditions and practices from South America, we will work ceremonially with tobacco and cacao, alongside voice, music, silence and contemplation, creating a space to listen more deeply to what is present and what may be asking to be expressed.
In this circle, Soema will share tobacco from the traditions and practices she has learned from and carries in her own work. Rather than approaching the plant recreationally, we meet it ceremonially: with respect, presence and intention.
Through tobacco, cacao, fire, voice, music and moments of silence, we will create space to slow down, listen more deeply and bring our attention toward what is asking to be seen, expressed or clarified.

About Soema Montenegro

About Fiorella Garibaldi
Soema Montenegrois an Argentine singer-songwriter, voice researcher and facilitator based in Buenos Aires whose work explores the voice as a territory of body, memory, identity and ancestral knowledge.
For more than two decades, she has developed a unique approach to voice that brings together music, conscious movement, sound exploration and practices inspired by Feldenkrais and Eutonia, alongside her deep relationship with the living musical and cultural traditions of South America.
Her work invites us to move beyond the idea of the voice as something to perform or perfect, and instead experience it as something we can inhabit, listen to and discover.
Deeply inspired by nature and the ancestral cultures of Latin America, Soema explores the relationship between voice, territory and lineage, weaving traditional and community songs—including Quechua, Aymara, Qom and Guaraní traditions—into her work.
Alongside her work as a facilitator, Soema is an internationally recognized recording and performing artist. Her music blends the sounds and landscapes of South America with original poetry and experimental composition, and has brought her to stages and audiences around the world.
Fiorella Garibaldiis a breathwork and embodiment facilitator, space holder and retreat guide whose work invites people to slow down, listen inward and reconnect with the wisdom of the body.
Originally from Peru and now based in Sweden, she weaves together conscious breath, movement, meditation, cacao and somatic practices to create spaces for self-exploration, expression and deeper connection.
At the heart of her work is a simple curiosity:
what becomes possible when we create enough space to actually hear ourselves?
Rather than looking outside of ourselves for answers, her work invites us to meet what is already present within the body—to breathe with it, move with it, feel it, and allow new ways of relating to ourselves and to life to emerge.
For When Breath Becomes Voice, Fiorella will guide the embodiment, cacao and breathwork elements of the journey, while also holding the space and translating Soema's teachings from Spanish into English.
I feel deeply honored to collaborate with someone I admire so much.
Soema has been one of my mentors, and her work has had a profound impact on my life and on the way I relate to my own voice and sound.
There is something very special for me about now bringing our work together and exploring the plant medicines that we love so much in the nordic forest.
I will also be translating when needed and holding the space throughout our time together.
